UCPH Spring Festival 2017
We want to bring students, researchers and other staff together to discuss sustainability - we hope you would like to join us!
We invite students and researchers to Speed-date
Sustainability Science Centre will be running 2 speed-dating sessions. Thereby, we hope to create informal, but exciting meetings between researchers and students across faculties and academic disciplines. For each session, we ask questions based on the UN’s 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
We cannot promise you a revelation, but you will for sure meet 10 people who are able to challenge your professional knowledge and views. If nothing else, you will get to spend half an hour in a cozy atmosphere – and who knows what that can bring.
If it sounds interesting, keep reading for more information ...
UCPH Spring Festival 5 May 2017
1st session: 15:00-15:30
2nd session: 16:00-16:30
Universitetsparken, Nørre Campus
We will place a total of 20 people opposite each other at a long-table. Each speed dating session lasts 30 minutes. This means that you have 3 minutes for each meeting. Thus, it is important you are able to present yourself and you work short and precise.
It does not require any preparation to join the sessions. If you are not familiar with all the 17 SDGs, see below. Because the participants will come from a wide range of disciplines, it will not hurt to think a bit about:
- Which of the 17 SDG are relevant to your field?
- Why is your research useful in order to obtain these goals?
- How does your knowledge relate to other academic disciplines?
On a first-come, first-served basis. We have a limited number of seats – so hurry up to reserve yours. Send us an email firstname.lastname@example.org stating your full name, research area and the time interval that suits you.
